Our website address is: https://www.dreambigbooks.ai. We are currently conducting a closed beta test of our Android app, Dream Big Books , designed to create personalized stories for children using AI.
What Data We Collect
In the App:
- Email address: Collected during closed beta registration and sent to Azure Application Insights for usage metrics and error tracking.
- Name, age, and gender: Used locally within the app to tailor story content. This data is stored only on the user’s device and is not transmitted externally.
How We Use Your Data
- Email: Helps us identify testers and follow up on bugs or feedback.
- Profile info (name, age, gender): Ensures stories are age-appropriate and personalized.
- Azure Application Insights: Used to monitor app performance and diagnose issues. No personally identifiable information beyond email is transmitted.
Data Storage & Retention
- Profile data (name, age, gender) is stored locally and never leaves the device.
- Email addresses are retained only for the duration of the closed beta and deleted upon request or at the end of the testing period
Your Rights
You may request deletion of any personal data we hold, including your email address. Locally stored data can be cleared by uninstalling the app. We retain data only as long as necessary for testing and support purposes.
Future Data Collection
As we prepare for public release, we may expand the scope of data collection to enhance personalization and support premium features. This may include:
- Full names: For personalized experiences and communication.
- Payment information: Securely processed for premium story access and other paid features.
- Usage metrics: Including age and gender-based usage patterns and story engagement data, which will help us refine content relevance and improve app performance.
